The image is created with various computational applications by the artist in 2003. The composition of the bell shape is originally inspired by a project in the 90s by the avant-garde English designer, Thomas Heatherwick. A decade later, Heatherwick has further expanded this concept for his UK pavilion for the Expo 2010 in China.
