Piazza Signoria is acting like an open-air museum with exhibition of sculptures by Renaissance artists. My first encounter of the place was in the course of Urbanism when taking architectural studies during 80s. It strikes me greatly by how the gaze of the statue David by Michelangelo to redefine the axis of vista. This piece is portrait of Perseus in moody dark tone to enliven the moment of action on Medusa. The original etching plate is coated in bluish Photrak as presented in website for illustration of printing process.
